Fast Forward

This will probably be the last of my series of posts sharing my past work. While I haven't posted even half of all my pieces, I have covered most of the different themes, styles, and ideas that I've explored. For a more complete set you can always check out my DeviantArt I posted some of my more miscellaneous pieces a few weeks ago but these were mostly from a period of high artistic output in 2010 and didn't include some more recent work. In this post I've included some of my favourite pieces from the last couple of years.

The Neverending Quest

The next pair are multimedia images; the first a digitally modified photograph of my own visual arrangement, the second a combination of hand drawn and digitally drawn elements with Photoshop brushes and a stock texture. I was the featured illustrator for an issue of our university student magazine, On Dit, for which I created modified versions of both images.

Open Your Mind

The next piece was featured in our university medical school publication, Stimulus. The title was borrowed from an amazing piece by Clint Mansell (composer of Lux Aeterna from Requiem for a Dream), Death is the Road to Awe.

Death Is The Road To Awe

Finally, a piece that was commissioned by the Adelaide University Medical Orchestra (AUMO) as part of a fundraising drive for the AUMO Foundation. I previously posted a drawing that started as a failed draft of this image but turned out quite differently. Psychedelically happy and colourful as usual ;)

Keys to Wellness

I am interested in art as a means of living a life; not as a means of making a living.
